MASTER PLUMBER

Master Plumber Services forms part of the Al Serkal Group. MPS has an outstanding reputation in providing faultless services in industrial, commercial and residential cleaning and plumbing maintenance.

But why is cleaning so important?

You might have heard of Sick Building Syndrome or SBS. SBS is a condition that describes the deteriorating health of a building’s occupants without any apparent reason. Those who live and/or work in the building complain of coughs, chest tightness fever, chills, and muscle aches.

These people are usually healthy and well, and once away from the building appear to get better. SBS can result from invisible filth that has built up over time, leading to air contamination and unsanitary working/living conditions.

INDOOR AIR QUALITY
:

IAQ is thought to be one of the contributors to SBS. In order to maintain good Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) our technicians clean the diffusers, ducts, AC units and the coils removing contaminants such as moulds, bacteria, dust mite, fungus, dust, internal insulations, etc. These contaminants are the cause for illness such as asthma, colds, allergies etc. To prevent these hazards the HVAC systems have to be cleaned on a regular basis. The construction of the HVAC systems also play a major role in the Indoor Air Quality e.g if the fresh air inlet and the main unit is located close to the toilet and kitchen extract fan, the internal of the building suffer from odors. IAQ needs to be extremely good to prevent SBS.

Master Plumber Services is committed to an environmentally clean environment for all, and provides excellence in cleaning on all levels.

GREASE TRAPS:

Grease traps hold the waste that flows through the sinks of kitchen. In an industrial or commercial environment, time pressures force kitchen staff to dispose wastes such as oil, food down the sink. A build up of waste products in this area can cause overflows, blockages, damage and unsanitary conditions. Our highly trained technicians pump out the grease and clean the tanks to ensure efficient drainage, and a longer life for piping and plumbing technology.

LINE JETTING:

The grease traps are connected to the kitchen sinks by a network of drain lines which can become blocked very easily. It is essential that internal drains are cleaned very regularly to ensure a long life, with minimum disruption. Our technicians jet the lines from the sink to the grease traps, using specialized equipments such as jetting machines and pumps to ensure drains become like new. Also the network of drains that connect to lift stations and ultimately the main line need to be regularly cleaned and inspected, we offer our clients a full service.

LIFT STATIONS:

Lift stations hold the waste from toilets, toilet wash basins and urinals. Regular cleaning is absolutely essential to prevent dangerous contamination and the spread of disease. Also the life of the lift pump is reduced considerably if lift stations are not regularly maintained. Lift stations can be hygienically cleaned by our technicians using high pressure jetting.

KITCHEN EXTRACT SYSTEMS:

Kitchen extract systems consists of hood (or hoods), horizontal and/or vertical duct, extraction together with electrostatic filters and ultra violet tubes. Steam, oil vapor, charcoal ash from cooking build up over time, and result in a highly unhygienic environment for food preparation. Also with the build up of grease the risk of duct fires is increased considerably. Regular cleaning is a must to avoid the spread of disease through food contamination and fire hazards. Our trained technicians work according to NADCA guidelines. Contact the Al Serkal Group for advice on how often your industrial, commercial or residential kitchen extract system should be cleaned.

HVAC SYSTEMS (AC DUCTS):

Air conditioning systems are made up of an air conditioning unit, vertical and horizontal ducting, flexible ducting, and diffusers. Physical contaminants such as dust, internal insulation, rodents, birds, insects and non physical contaminants such as dust mites, molds, bacteria and fungus, infect the ducting that supply conditioned air for us to breathe. The cleaning of the system is carried out by fully trained Al Serkal Group technicians, working under NADCA guidelines and using up to date tools and equipment.

In order to collect the contaminants we use HEPA filtered vacuum cleaners to avoid cross contamination. Apartments and villas should be cleaned once every year, and hotels, shopping malls and commercial properties should be cleaned every two years. We offer inspection services so that clients can monitor systems and decide upon the optimum time for service.

Our qualified technicians will visit your property and assess the type of cleaning needed. A detailed report will be provided on the work needed. All our cleaning procedures are in accordance to National Duct Cleaners’ Association (NADCA) guidelines.

WATER TANKS:

MPS is licensed by Dubai municipality (Food Control Dept) to carry out water tank cleaning. Access to clean drinking water is a matter of life or death. DEWA supplies Dubai with clean drinking water through their vast network of water pipelines which are stored in tanks of buildings.

A build up of sludge in tanks can provide a breeding ground for bacteria. Contamination such as rust, sediment, sand, bird droppings, dead animals seriously affect the quality of all water systems, and so the thorough and regular cleaning of all water tanks is paramount for health and safety. Our technicians have been trained to clean water tanks to Dubai Municipality standards.

LAUNDRY DUCTS:
We clean laundry ducts and extract fans in accordance with NADCA guidelines. Regular cleaning is vital to avoid fire hazards within laundries.
